Bee’ah is the MENA region’s leading and fully-integrated environmental and waste management company, based in the Emirate of Sharjah, UAE. The company’s new headquarters, currently nearing completion, is the region’s first fully AI integrated building, spans a total area of 90,000 square metres, and is entirely powered by renewable energy. The sweeping architecture of the building is designed to blend in with its surrounding environment, by replicating the vast dunes of the desert, with the two central dunes comprising the primary office space of the structure: the first dune hosts the public and management sections of the company, whilst the second dune runs the administration section. The two main departments are connected via a 23-metre central courtyard, crowned by a 15.3-metre concrete dome roof. Designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects, Bee’ah Headquarters won the 2018 Green Building Award at the Gulf Sustainability and CSR Awards. It is currently on course to attaining the LEED Platinum Certification, the highest available international accreditation for sustainable architecture. Proscape is contracted to execute the complete landscaping works, for the
project.
