Dubai Parks and Resorts is the largest theme park and leisure destination in the Middle East, comprising four major theme parks: Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Waterparks Dubai, and Legoland Dubai. Visitors have a choice of over one hundred rides and attractions that are suited to both children and adults. Dubai Parks and Resorts also hosts Lapita Hotel Dubai, a Polynesianstyle family resort, Legoland Hotel Dubai, and an open-air dining and retail destination, named Riverland Dubai.
Proscape was contracted for the large-scale supply of plants to the entire DXB Entertainments’ venture, procuring over 2,000 palms, 25,000 trees and 2.6 million shrubs, ground covers and grass, that were sourced both locally and overseas. Proscape also specially imported a 12-meter tall Rain Tree, Samanea saman, from Thailand, for the project. It is the largest tree to be successfully imported and planted for any landscaping project in the UAE.
Proscape was also contracted to execute the soft landscaping, hard landscaping, irrigation, and landscape lighting for the public realm, that constitutes all the common land areas between the theme parks and hotels, a total of 368,900
square meters.
