La Mer, Dubai

La Mer is an eclectic and chic bohemian-style beachfront, hotel and shopping destination. It has become a prime holiday retreat for both residents and tourists, boasting a wide range of boutique cafes, luxury retail brands, fine dining outlets, and recreation activities. This includes the family-friendly Laguna waterpark, which features many water rides and activities for children and adults. Additional attractions and amenities provided by La Mer includes an inflatable playground for children and adults, a cinema, a tanning salon, professional graffiti artwork, that also make ideal ‘selfie’ spots, and a large underground parking. La Mer was designed to have a beach-themed landscaping. In compliance with the proposed theme, Proscape planted subterranean plants, fan palms and coconut palms, that help to create a tropical sea-side-holiday environment. Proscape was also contracted to execute the decorative concrete paving, celebration walk, and natural water features and streams. Timbertech LLC, a group company, executed the timber boardwalk and pergola (partial), for the project.
